The KCTCS User Account Center stores your student information securely and provides access to your information online, 24/7. At the KCTCS User Account Center you will be able to:  

  • Activate your account by creating your User Profile 
  • Access your KCTCS username, KCTCS ID (aka Student ID, Employee ID) and other information 
  • Reset your password

User accounts are created every 2 hours between 8-5 pm Monday through Friday after a student successfully submits the admission application. The account information stored in the KCTCS User Account Center will give you access to all your user services:

Student Self-Service is the online student account where you will register for courses, pay your tuition, check your financial aid status, and view your grades.

KCTCS Webmail is the web-based system used to access your student e-mail. All important/official communication from your home college and Learn on Demand will come through your student e-mail account. Make sure to check it regularly.

Blackboard is the learning management system you will use to access your courses. Make sure to log into your courses regularly.

In order to access these sites, you will need to create your user profile at the KCTCS User Account Center. At the KCTCS User Account Center, you will need to provide your birthdate, and two other pieces of information such as your national ID (social security number), your KCTCS ID, personal email address, or application reference number. After setting up your user profile, you will be able to view your KCTCS ID, your username, and reset your password.
