Requesting a Transcript from a KCTCS College

A transcript is an official record of your academic history. Learn on Demand students who wish to transfer to another institution will be required to provide official transcripts to that institution. While you are enrolled as a Learn on Demand Student, you can view or print your unofficial transcript after logging in with your username and password.

To request an official transcript, please contact the Go KCTCS! Student Service Center. Note: Transcripts will not be issued for individuals with financial holds. When completing your transcript request, you will be asked for the following information:

  • Your full name and all names used while attending the Kentucky Community and Technical College System.
  • Your KCTCS ID number or social security number.
  • Your date of birth and dates of attendance at KCTCS.
  • The address(es) where you want the transcripts sent.
  • Your signature.
  • Your daytime phone number, e-mail address, and/or mailing address, should we need to contact you about your request.
  •  The type of transcript service (mailed, faxed ) plus payment.

Sending Your Transcript to your Learn on Demand Home College

If you are have previous college experience and want to become a Learn on Demand student, you will need to send your transcripts to your home college after you have applied. Once your application has been processed and approved, you will be notified that you will need to send an official transcript. This information will also be included in your ToDo list in Student Self-Service. If you have any questions about where to send your transcript, please contact the Go KCTCS! Student Service Center.

Learn on Demand Transcripts

As you enroll in a course or module, it will appear on the transcript immediately. Transcripts with Learn on Demand courses will list each module in the term you earned it along with the grade you were awarded as soon as your instructor posts the grade. Once you earn all the modules to equal the parent course, you will see the parent course at the start of your transcript. The parent course, however, will not have a grade attached. The transcript will re-list all the modules individually with their grades and then list the parent course so you, and anyone else who reviews your transcript, will easily be able to tell you earned the parent course.
